Getting to work with new interpreting graduates is my favorite pastime. When I entered the field people were so kind to me and I try to remember that and pay it forward. Make sure to check out the event page for novice workshops and mentoring opportunities.
We have to record these on a green screen, so the student and I came together as a mentoring opportunity to work on this video. We had to record it three times because my equipment was giving us so many problems. In the end, it was serendipitous because we were able to capture a great rendition and I am really proud of the work she did here. I am looking forward to using these opportunities with more interns and mentees in the future.
