ASL Interpretation of the "Fearless Formula" Podcast

In this blog post, we will share two videos. The first video is of Lori Civello and Chelsey Cahilly interpreting the "Fearless Formula" podcast into American Sign Language (ASL). The second video is of us debriefing about the interpretation we just did. We talk about the importance of prep, what tone looks like, evaluating our work afterward, and a future workshop we plan to host with the podcasters.

Video 1: ASL Interpretation of the "Fearless Formula" Podcast

In this video, Lori and Chelsey interpret the "Fearless Formula" podcast, which is hosted by Joe Cianciolo. Joe is a Chief Achievement Strategist with Front Porch Advisers. He talks about the importance of self-awareness, goal-setting, and problem-solving. Lori and Chelsey do a great job of interpreting the podcast into ASL, and they make sure to capture all of the important information.

A Brief Debrief (Part One)

Video 2: Debriefing about the Interpretation

In this video, we talk about the importance of prep for an ASL interpretation. We also discuss what tone looks like in ASL, and how we evaluate our work afterwards. We also talked about a future workshop we plan to host with the podcasters. We are hoping to host a workshop on voice acting, and we are also hoping to have Joe Cianciolo back to talk about mentoring, teaming, and burnout.

We hope you enjoyed watching these videos. We believe that ASL interpretation is an important way to ensure that everyone has access to information and communication. We are committed to providing high-quality ASL interpretation, and we are always looking for ways to improve our skills.
